Every time the applicant committed mistakes due to which his/her application had to be canceled, hence this time there will be registration in two stages. Now Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration (PAAR) is a new registration process announced by the AIIMS wherein candidates have to apply in two stages - basic registration and final registration.
The basic registration can be filled by any candidates. Only those candidates who complete the final registration will be allowed to sit for the AIIMS
AIIMS MBBS Eligibility
Following are some of the eligibility criteria:
Student must have completed 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before December 31, 2019.Student must have passed 12th class from any recognized board or university with English, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry as subjects.- 60% marks are required for OBC & general category candidates and SC/ST/OBC candidates require 50% to apply for the exam.
- Candidates must be Indian nationals. Overseas Citizens of India and Non-Resident Indians are also eligible

Procedure to fill the final Registration
1. Open the AIIMS Official Website
2. Click on the "MBBS" Option instead of Proceed for Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration(PAAR)
Step 3. Login Page will open. You have to fill your registration ID, unique code, password and displayed captcha code as shown in the image below.
Step 4. Fill Qualification in AIIMS MBBS application form: At this
- Desired language for AIIMS exam
- Select an option (Yes/No) to answer whether they appeared for AIIMS MBBS exam earlier
- Qualifying exam name and status of qualification
Once the mentioned details are filled, the other qualification details such as board name, state where they belong to, Class 12 roll number, marking scheme (percentage/CGPA), total marks and scores obtained, will be displayed automatically on the screen. After filling the details, verify it and click on 'Proceed to step 5' button.

AIIMS Exam Pattern 2019
Details are mentioned below:
- Mode: AIIMS Exam will be held in online mode (computer-based test).
- Shifts: The examination will be organized in two shifts, i.e. 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM (Morning) & 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM (Afternoon).
- Duration: The duration will be 3½ hours.
- Language: The question paper will be provided either in English or in Hindi.
- Number of Questions: Total 200 multiple choice (objective & reason-assertion) type questions will be asked in the exam.
- Subjects: The questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge/Aptitude.
- Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will get a score of one mark.
- Negative Marking: Each incorrect response will get a score of – ⅓ mark.
